FC Westchester and the U.S. Soccer Development Academy

F.C. Westchester is among a select number of clubs that was chosen by the US Soccer Federation to be a U.S. Soccer’s Development Academy program, a revolutionary initiative that started in 2007-08.

FC Westchester is proud to be the ONLY fully sanctioned soccer club in Westchester County which currently fields Academy teams in all three age groups, and one of only a handful of clubs to do so in the tristate area. And starting with the 2016-17 season, the club will grow its USSDA program into the U12 and U13 age groups as part of US Soccer’s expansion into these age groups.

The Academy is a partnership between U.S. Soccer and the top youth clubs around the country to provide the best youth players in the U.S. with an everyday environment designed to produce the next generation of world-class National Team players. The U.S. Soccer Development Academy is a program that provides education, resources and support to impact everyday club environments that will develop world-class players.
