DEVELOPMENTAL & TRAINING CLINICS
Ages 7 – 10 years
20 one-hour Training Sessions
Fall (2017), Winter & Spring (2018) Seasons
FC Westchester is proud to offer a supplemental soccer development and training program for 7 – 10 year old’s during the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons. These are not teams; each season will consist of 20 one-hour training sessions. The program is designed to give young players two extra training sessions per week to help complement their regular club/town training programs. The developmental program provides a safe, pressure-free learning environment focused on player development.
Our coaches follow a specific youth curriculum to help improve the fundamental skills of young players. The aim of the program is to enhance ball mastery skills of the young players and then put the skills learned into practice in 1v1 and 2v2 situations as well as in small sided, conditioned games. The small sided, conditioned games provide game environments that promote the continued improvement of ball skills, an increased game awareness and an appreciation for taking calculated risks in attack.
The program is held at:
SUNY Purchase College
735 Anderson Hill Road
Purchase, NY 10577
In the Fall and Spring sessions, the outdoor training will be conducted on Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 7pm and on Saturday mornings from 9:30am to 10:30am on our state-of-the-art turf fields.
