FC Westchester's Henry Martin Selected for U14 National Camp

FC Westchester defender Henry Martin has been selected to attend the Under 14 USSF National Camp to be held in Concord, MA. from August 1 to 7th.  Martin is one of 120 players nationally who have been invited to the camp.

Martin, who plays on the FCW 1996 team that will be participating this season in the Northeast Pre-Academy League, was selected based on his performance at a U.S. Soccer Development Academy Market Training Center held in June for players in the 1996 and 1997 age groups.

"As a result of the Academy program, several of our players have been identified for U.S. Soccer national team programs.  It is gratifying to see that Henry is the latest player to be recognized," said FC Westchester Director of Coaching David McCollum

Recently, FCW U.S. Soccer Development Academy goalkeeper Alex Kapp was selected to participate with the U17 National Team for a camp in Houston and a team trip to Mexico.  Earlier this summer, FCW's Scott Levene and Giovanni Carillo took part in U15 and U14 National Camps, respectively.
