The U14 FC Westchester '94s and FC Westchester '93s have both qualified for the Super Y League North American Championships to be held in November in Tampa, Florida.
The '94s clinched their spot in the national championships by taking first place in the SYL's Group A of the Mid-Atlantic Division. The '93s -- who also won this year's ENYYSA State Cup Championship -- clinched their spot by taking at least third in the 16-team U15 Mid-Atlantic Division.
This will be the 10th Anniversary North American Finals. As has been the case in each of the past four seasons, the North American Finals will be held as one half of USL’s SoccerFest. USL’s Annual General Meeting, held in downtown Tampa, Florida, represents the second half of what is now one of the largest annual gatherings of North American soccer officials, executives and administrators.
“There is a tremendous amount of excitement for the Super Y-League finals in November,” said Senior Director of Youth League Development, Jeff McRaney. “Last year’s event was a big success and this year’s should be even better.”
A total of 140 teams will attend the Super Y-League North American Finals.
