The FC Westchester ’93 Boys won the U15 Boys title at the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association’s State Cup Championships, topping Hicksville 3-0.

The ’93 Boys went up 1-0 about 10 minutes into the game on a goal by Gerardo Ceja.  Then about 10 minutes into the second half, Ceja scored again on a header off a corner to put the ’93s up 2-0.  And when Hiroki Kobayashi tallied with about a minute to go in the match the ’93s, coached by David McCollum, knew they had won the match.

The ’93s now move onto the US Youth Soccer Region I National Championships June 26-July 1 in Portland, Maine.

Meanwhile, the U12 ’96 Boys also made it to the State Cup Finals but lost 3-0 to BW Gottschee.
