FC Westchester’s Lucas McBride scored two goals in stoppage time to give the FC Westchester U16 team a 4-2 victory over FC Delco Sunday afternoon in U.S. Soccer Development Academy action at Purchase College. In the U18 match, FC Westchester got a second half goal from Roberto Silva to take a 1-0 win.

In the U16 match, after a scoreless first half, FC Westchester went out on top on goals by Andres Penfold and Cesar Ceja. FC Delco came back with two goals in the 60th and 70th minute, but then McBride won the match with his two late strikes

In the U18 match, Silva scored his goal early in the second half and then FCW held on for the victory. Tim Mingione had a shutout in goal for FCW.

The U16 and U18 teams now travel to Sarasota, Florida for the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Showcase being held May 28-June 1 at the Sarasota Polo Grounds. There they will take on the San Diego Surf, Colorado Rush and Ohio Elite.
