FC Westchester U18 Academy Team
Coaching Staff: Chris Gonzalez, assistant men’s coach at Iona College. Chris was a star player at Fordham University and played professionally for several years with the Wilmington Hammerheads in North Carolina and the New York Fever. Chris is assisted by Boris Bandov, formerly a star player with the world famous New York Cosmos (where he played with the likes of Pele, Beckenbauer and Carlos Alberto) and a former US National Team member.
Last year's u18 Academy team won the Academy League's Northeast Division and made it to the Academy Finals event held at the Home Depot Center in Los Angeles.
FC Westchester U16 U.S. Soccer Development Academy Team
Coaching Staff: David McCollum, a long-time ENYYSA ODP coach and a four-time winner of the ENYYSA State Cup championship as coach of the reknow Yorktown Spirit squad. He is assisted by Lonny Unger, the assistant men’s coach at Manhattan College who also runs the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association ODP program. Prior to joining Manhattan College, he was the men’s soccer head coach at Purchase College, SUNY and was previously an assistant coach at Iona College.
FC Westchester '95 Boys
Under 14s
Coached by Edgar Quiroga, the former head coach at Iona Prep and a long-time youth coach who has taken several FC Westchester teams to State Cup championships and finals. He is assisted by Matt McGuire, a former top player in Rockland County.
The team will play in the WYSL Division 1 in the fall and is expected to play in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy in the spring.
FC Westchester '96 Boys
Under 13s
Coached by James Quiroga, former assistant men’s coach at Iona College. He is assisted by Jay Riordan, a long-time successful youth coach.
The team was the U12 ENYYSA State Cup finalist in the fall and won the U13 WYSL Division 1 championship during the season.
The team is playing in the fall in the Cosmopolitan Premier League and in the spring will likely play in the Super Y League or the Region 1 Premier League.
FC Westchester '97 Boys
Under 12s
This team is coached by Ricardo Lyon. A former professional player, Lyon played for Union San Felipe in Chile’s Premier Division and also played for the U17 and U20 National Teams. He has been very active in the Westchester area coaching scene, serving as Director of Soccer programs and head boys varsity coach at Sleepy Hollow H.S.and varsity soccer coach at Hackley H.S., as well as a youth coach with the Yorktown and Chapppaqua Soccer Clubs. He has also served on the ENYYSA ODP staff. He holds a USSF B License, as well as Chilean National Futbol Institute (INAF) Certification, an .NSCAA, Regional goalkeepers license. He is assisted by Sean Kenny, former assistant coach at nationally-ranked St. John’s and former head coach of NY Fever and North Jersey Imperials professional teams. While at St. John’s, the team won the 1996 NCAA National Championship. Working with Sean is John Hanna, one of youth soccer’s most successful coaches, having coached the FCW team that won the U16 national championship in 2000 and the team that won the U20 national championship in 1996. Team is managed by Dan Elias.
In the fall of 2007, the team will be participating in the WYSL U13-Division 1.

U11 Boys
Coaching Staff: The team is coached by Niall Archbold, who is a former coach at NYU and a long-time successful youth coach. Since coming to FC Westchester his teams have won numerous WYSL & nationally-ranked tournaments. In his playing career he played professionally in Ireland and semi professionally in the U.S. Coach Archbold holds a NCAA National license, He also coaches at the FC Westchester Academy. He is assisted by Anton McKeon, a former star player at Concordia College.
The team will play up into the WYSL U12 league.

U10s
The team will be coached by Carlos Casas, a former star at Boston College and a long-time successful youth coach. He will be assisted by Chris Gonzalez, an assistant coach at Iona College who is also the director of soccer for Future Stars Camps and an USSF A Licensed coach.. He was previously the head men’s coach at Mercy College and prior to that was the assistant women’s coach at Iona College. In his playing days,, he was a star player at Fordham University and he grew up playing for FC Westchester, as did Coach Casas.
