Casey is the club's Director of Coaching as well as the head coach of the Everton FC Westchester U16 U.S. Soccer Development Academy team.
In his Director of Coaching role, Casey is responsible for elevating the level of the club’s player performance and of the coaching staff’s teaching and leadership performance. In particular, he works with the club's coaches on the implementation of the club’s training curriculum consistent with the overall player/team development philosophy of U.S. Soccer, combined with Everton F.C.’s the “Everton Way" coaching philosophy.
Casey joined Everton FC Westchester in September 2013 after spending seven years working for the Football Association of Ireland (FAI), during which time he was a member of the Republic of Ireland U-15/U-16 international boys coaching staff.
A fully qualified level 3 UEFA coach educator, he has guided and developed players that have gone on to earn professional contracts with top teams in the English Premier League such as Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Everton. In Ireland, Ryan was head coach at a FAI emerging talent regional center where he was responsible for the implementation of curriculum in line with UEFA best practices and education of coaches within a tri-county area. During his 15-year professional player career, Ryan played for Swansea City FC, St. Pats Athletic FC, Cork City FC, Melbourne Knights, Galway United and Athlone Town FC.
Casey was part of what was known as the “golden generation” of Republic of Ireland youth soccer in the late 1990s. He played for the Republic of Ireland at the U-17 to U-20 level. Casey won the U-18 European Championships in Cyprus in 1998 in a squad that included players such as Robbie Keane, Damien Duff and Richard Dunne. He also represented the Republic of Ireland in the U-20 World Cup in Nigeria in 1999.

Carson played professionally for over 17 years in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Carson also represented Northern Ireland at every age level and made his international debut in June 2009 against Italy. Carson started his playing career at Glasgow Rangers where he played with Paul Gascoigne, Brian Laudrup and Rino Gattuso.
Carson went on to play over 400 games for Dundee United, Barnsley, Hartlepool, Coleraine and Glentoran, scoring 80 goals along the way.
Previously, Carson was the Youth Development Officer at Coleraine Football Club.

O’Brien captained the England youth team early in his career as well as the Everton Football Club youth team. The Everton Football Club youth team won the FA Youth Cup in 1998. O’Brien went on to play professionally for Everton, Torquay United and Chester City.
Most recently O’Brien was a lead coach at Everton’s youth academy at Finch Farm, developing and recruiting young players and training them in line with the English Premier League’s Elite Player Performance Plan.

Jim McElderry- College Liaison - Assistant Coach Academy teams
McElderry has been head men’s coach at Fordham University for 10 years. He has led Fordham to the Atlantic 10 Championships twice in the past three years and in 2011 was named the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Coach of the Year. McElderry joined FC Westchester in 2010 after having been a National Scout with the U.S. Soccer Development Academy program. He has also been a coach with the Region I Olympic Development Program. As a player, McElderry was a four-year letterman at Fairfield, earning several post-season honors including the 1992 MAAC Player of the Year award. McElderry was inducted into the Fairfield Athletic Hall of Fame in 1998. Following graduation, McElderry played professionally for the New York Fever of the A-League from 1994-97 and then for the Long Island Rough Riders (A-League) from 1997-98. He also played for the New York Freedoms, a Division 3 team, for four seasons.

John Mulhare: 2004 NEPAL Head Coach, 2005 Premier Team Head Coach

Mulhare played and coached for several clubs in Ireland. Mulhare returned to Westchester and coached Mt Pleasant soccer club to 3 consecutive division titles. Mulhare coached several additional clubs in the WYSL and NYCSL to division titles and coached the 2002 Everton FC Westchester team between 2011 and 2014 (with both Blue and White teams winning their NEPAL divisions in the 2013/2014 season).

Sean Kenny- 2004 NEPAL Team Coach
Kenny has been coaching in the Westchester area for over 25 years at the Academy and College levels. Kenny rejoined Everton FC Westchester in 2015 after having spent 18 years with the Club between 1992 and 2010. While at FC Westchester previously, Kenny served as Head Coach, Director of Coaching and a Member of the Board of Directors. Kenny led two FC Westchester teams to National Championship Titles (U16 in 1999 and U20 in 1997) and guided teams to New York State Cup Championships in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2004 and 2005. Between 1994 and 2000, Kenny served as an assistant coach at St. John’s University (NY) where he helped guide the program to a NCAA Division I National Championship. During Kenny’s tenure at St. John’s the Red Storm were three-time Big East Conference Champions (1994, 1995 and 1998) and appeared in the NCAA Tournament seven times. Kenny is currently in his second stint as Head Coach for Concordia College which he rejoined in 2013 after serving as Head Coach from 1987 to 1994. Kenny helped elevate the Concordia soccer program from NAIA to NCAA D-II status. In 1992, Kenny led Concordia to an ECAC D-II Championship and was recognized as the NCAA Division II National Coach of the Year. Following Kenny’s collegiate career he was drafted by the Dallas SideKicks of the Major Indoor Soccer League where he played professionally until accepting the coaching position at Concordia.

Gargiulo has been dedicated to developing youth soccer in various Westchester Youth Soccer League (WYSL) clubs for over 15 years. He has a B.S. in Physical Education and has taught health and physical education on a high school level for almost two decades. He was captain for NCAA Division I St. Francis College and has played semi-professionally for 20 years in both Italy and the USA. Massimo was an assistant coach at St. Francis College, head Coach at NY Tech, head coach at Columbus High School in the Bronx and a head coach in the WYSL Select program.

Silvester is a long-time youth coach in the Westchester area with 25 years of experience. Originally from Glasgow, Scotland, he was a high school MVP and All-County performer in 1981 in Westchester and then played at Concordia College in Bronxville where his team won a national title. Previously, he was the Director of Coaching for WSA and prior to that was the Director of Coaching for the Scarsdale Youth Soccer Club, where he won 2 State Cup titles. Mark was the original coach and trainer of the FC Westchester 1984 team that eventually went on to win the U16 USYSA National Championship.

Julian Grajales- 2002 NEPAL Team Coach, 2002 Premier Team Head Coach
Grajales, who served as captain at D1 Iona College, was one of the top midfielders in the MAAC and played for FC Westchester’s very successful 1989 team, which won multiple State Cup and tournament titles.

Boris Bandov- 2006/2007 Premier Team Coach, 2005/2006 Premier Team Coach
Bandov returned to Everton FC Westchester in 2015 after coaching at the club between 2005 and 2013. Bandov was a member of the US Men’s National Team between 1976 and 1983, earning 33 caps. Bandov played professionally in the United States from 1974 to 1986. Bandov spent ten seasons in the North American Soccer League, two in the Major Indoor Soccer League and one in the United Soccer League. Bandov played on such teams as the New York Cosmos, the San Jose Earthquakes and the Seattle Sounders.

George Gjokaj- 2006/2007 Premier Team Coach, 2005/2006 Premier Team Coach
George Gjokaj returned to Everton FC Westchester in 2014, continuing his long and successful history of playing and coaching with the club. Gjokaj played for FC Westchester under Al Pastore and Sean Kenny in the early years. Gjokaj then went on to represent the US at the U23 level and missed the Atlanta Olympics due to injury. Gjokaj played Division I college soccer at St John's University where he captained the team to consecutive Big East championships. After graduating from St. John's, Gjokaj went on trial with FC Kaiserslautern of Germany where he was signed to a professional contract. He returned to the US after 7 months recognizing that it would be near impossible to break into the first team. Gjokaj then began his coaching career in 1996. Gjokaj was a coach at FC Westchester from 1998 to 2002. He then went on to help local clubs get up and running successfully until returning to FC Westchester in 2014. Additionally, in the 2014/2015 season, Gjokaj coached the Clarkstown Eagles to the NPSL title game where they lost to the NY Cosmos. Gjokaj also assisted the coaching staff of NYCFC in creating a training group for Spanish superstar David Villa when he arrived in New York. Gjokaj currently holds a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.
